Conjunctivitis & Eye Irritation

Conjunctivitis and dryness are the most prevalent eye disorders. Their incidence continues to grow due to increasing air-pollution and ozone levels, computer based work, air-conditioning, use of contact lenses, and allergies.

Oculoheel, a homoeopathic combination preparation, effectively alleviates the following ocular symptoms:

  • Dry eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Redness
  • Itching
  • Light sensitivity

Oculoheel

Oculoheel Eye Drops Equivalent to Tetryzoline
In a prospective, controlled cohort study with 769 patients, the efficacy of Oculoheel was compared to that of α-sympatomimetic eye drops (0.5 mg/ml tetryzoline HCl). The study included cases of slight to moderate conjunctivitis.

The effectiveness of Oculoheel was equivalent to tetryzoline as measured by the mean symptom score. A substantial improvement of symptoms occured within 4 to 7 days for over 80% of the patients in both groups.

In the majority of cases, the dosages of both Oculoheel and tetryzoline were 3 x 1 drops per day in each eye for a maximum of 14 days. Both medications were well tolerated throughout the study.
